The small
port of Maiori is situated on the west coast of the town between Punta dello Scarpariello
and Punta Salicerchio. It is composed by a sharp bending high tide pier and a low
tide banking. It represents the natural coastline of Maiori and it is 5 Km away
from Amalfi. Maiori can be easily reached by car, train or plane. It is in fact
only 18 km from Salerno train station; 20 Km from the motorway A3 and 70 Km from
Naples Capodichino airport.
